We are the Wachusett Mountain Ski Patrol (WMSP) a volunteer organization focused on keeping skiers and riders safe at Wachusett Mountain Ski Area in Princeton, Massachusetts.
As an affiliate of the National Ski Patrol (NSP) System, Inc., our members receive rigorous training in Outdoor Emergency Care; a specialized form of First Aid in-line with the education your local Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) receive with specialization in the treatment of injuries related to outdoor sporting activities.
During the season, you will encounter our members patrolling during standard mountain operating hours, seven days a week. Our patrollers, regardless of the weather conditions, are on the hill inspecting trail conditions for potential hazards, promoting safe skiing and riding and also monitoring snow and grooming conditions to help ensure you have a safe visit to Wachusett Mountain.
Our First Aid Room, located to the right of the Main Lodge, is open during normal Wachusett ski area operating hours. Anyone with an injury should go to the First Aid Room for medical care.
